Lecturers of the Auchi Polytechnic have joined Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics in their strike
The lecturers commenced their strike on Monday, November 13
The chairman of the Auchi chapter of ASUP said the strike is not peculiar to the polytechnic as other institutions would join in to force the federal government to honour the mutual agreement
The lecturers at the Federal Polytechnic Auchi in Edo state have joined the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics in the ongoing strike.
The lecturers of Auchi Poly commenced their own strike on Monday, November 13.
Punch reports that academic activities at the polytechnic campus located at Etsako West local government area of Edo state were grounded.
It was gathered that the lecture halls of the institutions were shut.
